Experienced Edokiriko (江戸切子) for JPY 1,500 per person. No glass making though! It's all about cutting the glass (plates in our class) in different angles... Not as easy as I thought but interesting! http://www.kiriko.co.jp/index.html Address: |
|
Steps: 1. Mark the plate with guiding lines. 2. Start cutting with thick blade for the main cuts. 3. Mark the other connecting lines. 4. Cut the plate with a finer blade. 5. Depending on your skills, the master may help you to "fine turn" your work... 6. Finally, mark it with your initials.
You know what? Mama-san is the
best student in class who didn't really need the master help... |
