About an hour train ride + 10 mins ferry from Hiroshima city, first thing to notice is deer! They are just all over the places and asking (following) you for food, including paper... Other than that, great oysters, Japanese fish cakes and Itsukushima Shrine. If you visit Hiroshima, make sure to spend half a day at this nice and peaceful island. |
